Granny’s Muffins – when you can’t decide on a flavor, have them all!

img_20161023_191239This is an original muffin recipe I found in my grandmother’s handwritten “best of” recipe book. Aside from the fact that those muffins taste absolutely delicious plan Jane, you can add toppings to your heart’s desire! I added cherries to some, birthday cake sprinkles to others, and chocolate chips to the rest. The muffins are perfect for Kids’ birthday parties or just because.

recipe for 12 muffins:

  • 100g butter (about 3.5 ounces – most kitchen scales can measure oz and g)
  • 250g flour (about 8.8 oz)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 175g sugar (about 6.2 oz)
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 ml milk (about 5 oz or 2/3 cup)

bake @ 320 degree Fahrenheit (or 160 degree Celsius) for about 30 min
